Benjamas Taste of Thai is a new restaurant located in Astoria, NY. Though new to Astoria, Benjamas has years of experience in Thai cuisine. They offer only the best and freshest ingredients in their dishes. Stop in and enjoy their warm and charming atmosphere while you dine. Conveniently located right outside of Manhattan and next to the great shopping of Astoria, Benjamas Taste Of Thai is here to satisfy you!
One of the best Thai places I've tried in the neighborhood. Summer rolls only ice berg lettuce which was disappointing but the entree was good!

Amazing! I've had the pad Thai, red curry, tom yum soup, sticky rice, and Thai iced tea from here before and all are delicious. Definitely the best in the neighborhood

I used to love Three E but unfortunately lately the food quality has not been the best.
Delivery is quick... But food seems overcooked and reheated.
Boo to the food quality going down in the last 6-10 months because it used to be delicious!

My favorite Thai place in Astoria. Often get Pad Thai with chicken & extra vegetables, Pad Kee Mow or Pad See Eew. Dumplings are delicious too, steamed or fried.

Love this place. It's the only Thai restaurant I order from. Food is always delicious and hot. Delivery is always within a reasonable time frame and they're consistent (I order from here almost every week). I've never had any surprises or let downs with them. Definitely a favourite of mine!

I've ordered the chicken pad Thai twice and it is the best I've had in Astoria. I've tried so many Thai restaurants here, and decided to give Three E Taste of Thai based on a friend's recommendation. I will definitely always order my Thai food from here!

Food is ok, hit the point when you're craving Thai food. Fast delivery and great customer service.

The best Thai food in Astoria!!
If you are hungry and don't want to wait to long for your food this place won't disappoint you, fast delivery.

Best Thai food in Astoria
Very fast delivery

Ordered chicken pad thai & spring rolls twice, my go to thai dinner. Pad thai is good, noodles cooked right, nice balance of sauce, chicken and bean sprouts. Spring rolls are not great but good. Would order again.

Delicious! Spicy basil fried rice is top notch

My favorite Thai place to order in Astoria. Fast delivery, and really good food. The portions are great too.

So good. Always good delivery time and food is fresh.

Sorry to say it, but this was the worst Thai food I'd eaten in a long time. The delivery service was good, but the food was just...bad. They put soy sauce on the side of the chive pancakes but they didn't close the lid properly, so before my order arrived it had spilled all over the pancakes so they were inedible as they tasted like soy sauce but nothing else. The 'papaya salad' had no papaya in it, and was disgusting. Even the pad thai wasn't good. Too bad! I felt like I wasted money.

Really delicious food. A little overpriced for spring rolls, but the food was great

Not my favorite....

Great food. I had a craving for Ayada but didn't want to travel there. This place did it for me. Ask for Thai spicy and feel the burn.

Horrible horrible! What happened to our favorite Thai restaurant?
Duck Tamarind was almost burnt and sent without sauce. When I called to complain the receptionist said "yes we realized that we forgot the sauce but because u did not call, we assumed u do not need it" how the hell am I supposed to know sauce is on the side?
Also our Pad See Ew was absolutely "eww". It tasted like someone poured gasoline on it... Not sure what happened to this place because we ordered and ate there all the time... Very very disappointed...

I had a Thai place in this neighborhood that I used to adore, but they went out of business and the new place is Sushi (not my thing). But now I have a NEW Thai place!!! The food here is awesome. I haven't had everything on the menu, but everything I've had so far is terrific. Delivery is swift (I hardly had time to close the website!) and friendly. I ordered something the other night that they were out of and they called and switched the item with no problem. I couldn't be happier with this place. If you like Thai food, don't miss this place!

The was barely enough protein in the chicken or shrimp fried rice that we ordered. The chicken was more spicy than expected and both dishes were greasy. Delivery took a while.
Posted 10 months ago by Adam D.
I'm not sure if they changed chef bc I've ordered from them before and it was ok.. This time, the massaman was very watery and not very flavorful

Amazing green thai curry. Amazing paad kee maw. Value for your buck and the food is seasoned well!
Posted 10 months ago by Ntasha B.
I love this place, but the curries are a watery disappointment.

The delivery took more than double the estimated delivery time.

This is my favorite Thai restaurant in the area! Menu is varied, food is fresh and well made. Some of the fried items don't always travel well however. delivery is quick and food always arrives hot !

The food's pretty good. Delivery sucks. Allow yourself an extra hour. When they quote 30-45 mins, they mean 75+mins. I'd recommend ordering from somewhere else, especially of you're in a hurry.

Love it. Best delivery Thai in Astoria. Fast, consistently good and reasonably priced.

This has become my go-to Thai restaurant in Astoria. The delivery speed is good and my order is always correct and delicious. I'm not huge on spicy, but the Panang Curry always has just enough heat to keep me coming back. Overall, everything I've had from here is delicious and the delivery is great too!

Okay Thai at a reasonable price. Quick delivery. Not wowed by the food though. Rice was too greasy for my taste. And I was highly disappointed by the crab Rangoon. Not bad tasting items but nothing spectacular.

i consistently order pad see ew and i love it, but over the years, it's more noodle and next to no broccoli. the beef has decreased a bit but not as much as the broccoli. they actually use one stalk and cut it in one inch pieces on the bias. i ask for more and don't get it and i just thought tonight maybe i'd just get a side of it, but they don't offer it. it's frustrating : / oh mango sticky rice is heaven!!!

We used to like this place, but lately the delivery service and quality of food has been horrendous. Food would arrive late sometimes over an hour. When we call to check, they would lie that the food is on its way, then we wait another 30 minutes, and it's obvious they just started cooking our food. When the food arrives, it's slapped together sloppily. For the price, it's definitely not worth it. Never ordering from here again.

Pretty good. One of my go to spots for Thai. Portions aren't too large but not too small either. Delivery is usually pretty quick.

YUM! so far my favorite thai take out in this area. Food is flavorful and spicy (but not overpowering) and the delivery was pretty fast. Also the food arrived warm ;)!

If you stick to the noodle dishes, this place is some of the best thai in Astoria. I love getting the spring rolls with that carrot sauce.

prompt, average steamed veg/tofu, good appetizers

Pad thai was dry and subpar. Then my girlfriend bit into a vegetable roll and pulled out what looked like a long piece of dental floss. I said it was just a piece of cabbage, but then she handed it to me and it appeared to be a long piece of flat string that looked exactly like dental floss. Disgusting. I won't be ordering here again.

Food is pretty good but got the order wrong. How do you get an order from Seamless wrong?? It's printed!

good choice for the standard thai-americanized fare (pad thai, pad see ew, etc). friendly staff and reasonably priced

bad food and delivery service. all my notes in the order were totally ignored, plus it was missing items.

Bland massaman curry and pad thai--not much given at lunch either--you will probably want to order extra rice as well.

Three E is a superior Thai establishment. The food is delicious and especially speedy.

okay thai food. a bit more americanized than some of the other options in the area. but still, decent and reliable.

Service is always quick and friendly! I love the chicken satay and they have the best pad thai around. Yum yum yum!
Posted 3 years ago by Courtney F.
There aren't that many thai places to choose from in Astoria, but this is one of the better ones.
Posted 3 years ago by Cindy N.
The food was way to greasy. You should not, for example, see the oil separate and float to the top of a curry. There are to a lot of much better Thai food restaurants in Astoria.
Posted 3 years ago by Jason G.
Massaman Curry is out of this world! Fast delivery, too!

Great Pad Kee Maow
Posted 3 years ago by Fred B.
Not bad, not good. Good service, kind of bland, fresh rice and veggies, but missing that pop that I look for in Thai cooking.
Posted 3 years ago by Brian N.
The steamed dumplings were very tasty but I expected more than just four pieces for the price. I also ordered veggie Pad Thai and it was really good. Great balance of sweet and spicy. Thai iced tea was a little weird, though. Overall, a good impression.

Good food and very timely with the service. I also requested a drink and told them to surprise me. When I got my order, I got a raspberry tea Snapple with a note that said "Surprise :)" This is why I keep going back!
Posted 3 years ago by Christopher L.
this place is a hit or miss. the food is never the same as the last time. i personally liked Benjamas a lot and often ordered their mixed veggies in garlic sauce (that happens to be my fave thai dish), however when I started ordering from 3E, the portions shrank considerably and while the food still tastes good, they always vary it up in terms of the veggies they put in there. Keep it consistent is all i ask !
Posted 3 years ago by mila k.
Its a pretty good thai place, I enjoy the popular dishes and its priced pretty fair, the flavors are not as powering as other thai places they tend to be a little on the bland side unless you specifically order them spicy not the best I have evr eaten but no true complaints
Posted 3 years ago by George G.
Great service and tasty food for a good price.
Posted 3 years ago by Robin C.
My favorite Thai food in Astoria, 3E Taste of Thai offers some of the most authentic Thai flavors in the neighborhood. The papaya salad can be ordered authentic (spicy) or sweet, but either way it is delicious. The curries are made to perfection, with spiciness you designate (careful though, even mild is a bit zesty). The duck curry is my favorite, mixing amazing red curry and mixed vegetables with huge pieces of perfectly cooked roast duck. No pricier than any other Thai restaurants in the area, 3E Taste of Thai is definitely my favorite.

Overpriced for the quality of food. The food was good, but definitely not amazing enough to cost more than the usual Thai places.

The papaya salad was weird. I won't be ordering it again.

Best thai I've found in Astoria
Posted 3 years ago by Elizabeth E.
whole fish red snapper -- perfectly crispy on the outside, moist and delicious inside. yum! also, the Thai dumplings were excellent.

I asked them to make my order without tomatoes, but for some reason there is tomatoes all over it? The food doesn't taste all the good, and the Thai Iced Tea is watery. And the delivery guy didn't have a receipt for me? WTF? If you want good Thai, check out Wave Thai on 31st street off of Ditmars.

Good curry puffs, reliable pad thai, but Leng across the street is better all around - but not on Seemless Web yet!
